What makes our log buildings special?

We get True North Log Homes Inc of Bracebridge, Ontario to make our log homes, one of the leading companies in log home innovation and technology.

Use full sized machined logs i.e. an 8 x 12 inch log measures 8 x 12.

Use winter cut, slow growth North Eastern White Pine to minimise shrinkage. Western Red Cedar can also be specified.

Use just the heartwood for the logs which helps ensure the long term integrity of the log wall system, plus it eliminates sap bleeding from the inside walls.

They are produced using the largest heavy log wall, computer aided manufacturing facility in the world. Logs are accurately machined with a variety of side wall profiles and corner systems. This accuracy eliminates the need to pre-assemble the home prior to delivery which some manufactures have to do.
